Our Easter Arts Camp took place last week during the schools mid-term break. St. Aidan’s School in Brookfield played host to what was a great week of fun. We were joined by Freshly Ground Theatre who facilitated a drama workshop. Our participants got to try out filmmaking. We enjoyed a special screening of all 5 films at the end of the week. Fernanda Ferrari from Bubble of Light Studio ran a very colourful art workshop, making beautiful dream catchers and sequined butterflies. Kelvin showed us how to bust out some moves on the dance floor with our junior and senior camp participants treating us to a dance of at the end of the week. And lastly, Jamie, El, Jack and Ryan from Subsounds Music Collective led a group of young people, eager to make some noise, in a loud and energetic drumming workshop.

We discovered some real talent last week. We can’t wait to do it all again. Thanks to all our workshop leaders and our young participants who made it such a special week of creativity and fun.
