Act Up Festival is Tallaght Community Arts’ annual one act theatre festival for secondary schools in South Dublin County. Now in its ninth year, the Act Up Team led by director Jennifer Webster provides guidance to its participating schools by supporting them in preparation, rehearsal and production process.  Participating schools choose one play from our annual selection to perform during festival week. Each school group casts, rehearses and directs their plays under the guidance of their teacher.  Act Up facilitators are on hand to assist each school whenever and however needed.  During festival week, our adjudicator working in the theatre industry gives positive feedback and guidance to students on their production. Invited guest speakers also give a short talk to the audience and Act Up participants on their career in the industry.  Act Up Festival will take place in – The Performance Space, RUA RED 23, 24, 25 March 2020
